Selling robot vacuums into the EU goes beyond product specs. You need CE marking with EMC + LVD reports, WEEE registration for every importing country, an EU Authorized Representative if you are not based in the bloc, and Type-F (Schuko) or Type-C plug variants depending on destination.

Ask your supplier for the original DoC, test reports from a recognized lab (TÜV, SGS, Intertek), and the BOM-level certificates for the battery (UN38.3) and adapter. Reject any factory that cannot produce these within 48 hours.

Negotiate MOQ on the SKU level, not the model level. A 500-unit MOQ across three colorways is far easier to land than 500 of a single configuration.

MOQ is a function of tooling amortization, component lead time and line-changeover cost — not a hard rule. Understanding which of those three drives a quoted MOQ tells you exactly where to push.

For OEM packaging, MOQ is almost always driven by printing minimums (300–500 boxes). Combine multiple SKUs into a shared outer carton and you can halve your committed volume.

Always ask for a sample order first. A 50–100 unit pilot at 1.3× unit cost protects both sides while you validate the listing.

Most modern appliances accept 100–240V / 50–60Hz natively, but motors and heating elements often do not. Air fryers, kettles and irons are frequency-sensitive and need market-specific PCBs.

Stock a single 'universal' inner unit and ship region-specific plug adapters in the gift box. This compresses SKU count by 60% in our buyer programs.
